Portland Basin Museum Trip

Class: Year 1 & 2 Year: 2023 - 2024

This half term, KS1 have been learning about how life has changed in history lessons. They have looked at rooms inside houses, schools, toys and shops. To support our learning, the children visited Portland Basin Museum where they had the opportunity to see a school room, living room, kitchen, greengrocers and pawnbrokers (amongst others) from the past. The children observed carefully and thought about what was different to today.
