In Summer 1, Key Stage 1 visited Knowsley Safari Park to enhance our Science topic where we have been learning to identify a range of vertebrates from all of the vertebrate animal families. We have been classifying the animals into the correct group and justifying our choices, describing the body structures of animals in the different families and identifying if they are carnivores, herbovores or omnivores. We also used our geographical skills, looking at the maps and deciding which continent the animals originated from.
