Sports Council
At Broad Oak Primary School we believe in the importance of pupil voice. That is why we have set up a sports council.
All children have opportunity each year to become a democratically elected sports councillor for their class. Children were selected from each class (in years 1 to 6) at the start of the year. The children of the sports council are enthusiastic about sport, interested in developing sport and P.E. in school, are full of good ideas and a good role model for sporting behaviour.
The Sports Council meet every month. They meet with Miss Shaw, the PE leader, to suggest ideas and help organise intra school sporting events, and pass on suggestions from their class as to how to improve school sport here at Broad Oak.
