Didsbury Parade 2024
Lesson: PSHE and citizenship
Broad Oak took part in the Didsbury Parade this year, which had an Olympics theme. Our part of the parade was titled: 'A Parade of Nations' to reflect the diversity of our school. The children and their families dressed in the colours of the Olympic rings to represent the different continents around the world, waved flags they had made and wore medals. We carried our very own Olympic rings, Olympic torches and were joined by our school cheerleaders and our mascot: Boris the Bear! We had a fantastic turnout and everyone showed so much enthusiasm. It was a lovely community event and we are looking forward to next year already!
