Year 4’s Trip to The Blue Planet Aquarium

On Friday the 20th January 2017, we went to the beautiful ‘Blue Planet Aquarium’. We went there to learn more about our topic ‘Blue Abyss’. The Abyss is one of the darkest zones in the ocean and lots of weird and wonderful creatures live there. We were so happy when we found out that we were going to visit the aquarium.

When we arrived, we went to the nearest room we could find and found ourselves in an exotic jungle filled with fantastic fish. There were catfish, blue dolphin fish and rainbow trout. It was mind-blowing!

There were lots more amazing rooms and we are going to tell you about some of our favourites. We had an information class and got to touch a starfish, a turtle’s shell and see a great white shark’s jaw and teeth. But best of all was the terrifying but terrific tunnel of sharks. We stood on a travellator so that we could concentrate on looking at all of the fish. We had never had so much fun in our lives! It was the best day ever.

We highly recommend going to visit the Blue Planet Aquarium yourselves.
