Parent RSE Awareness Session
Start: 31st Mar 2020
Dear Parents and Carers,
The Department for Education has announced changes to relationships and Sex Education (RSE).These changes will come into effect from September 2020 and all schools will be required to comply with the updated requirements.
This means that we will be reviewing our RSE curriculum and policy so we can be sure our provision is appropriate for our pupils based on their:
- Physical and emotional maturity
- Religious and cultural background
- Special educational needs and/or disabilities
We need your feedback to help us do this.
We are running a parent awareness session on Tuesday 31st March 2020 at 2:15. We ask you to look at the outline of the new curriculum on the reverse of this letter and if you have any questions that you would like answering at the meeting, please complete the slip below and return in an envelope to the school office by Friday 13th March 2020. This will enable us to make sure we answer all of your queries and questions during the session.
Thank you for your continued support.
