Didsbury Parsonage Trust

Local Primary Schools' Art Exhibition

We were delighted to be able to open our doors over the August Bank Holiday ‘trial’ weekend to finally show our Local Primary Schools’ Art Exhibition which had sadly been behind closed shutters since ‘lockdown’, just when the exhibition was originally due to start!

Over the three days, we welcomed over 200 visitors, successfully testing our new Covid-19 secure measures which included a one-way system around the galleries.

We received so many wonderful comments from our visitors who were clearly impressed by the quality of the artwork and came away uplifted and inspired!

We wanted to share some of these comments with you, especially with the schools.  The exceptional high standard of teaching did not go unrecognised.

Two of the original participating schools were unable to get their work to us before lockdown but we hope we can include their works next time we are able to open our doors, hopefully in the not too distant future.

Please see the images below and read feedback from the public about this wonderful exhibition.
